The chip of the CL-PD6710-VC-B is compliant with PC Card Standard, PCMCIA 2.1, is optimized for use in notebook and handheld computer where reduced form factor and low power consumption are critical design objective. With the CL-PD6710-VC-B, a complete PC Card solution with power-control logic can occupy less than 1.5 square inches (excluding the socket connector).
